element 2 - shutter speed and moving object

shutter speed is the speed that the shutter moves to let in more light or keep out more light

if you keep your shutter open for too long you image will be overexposed and if you make it it fast the image will be grainy

you can also you shutter speed to make water look still and flat or make and image look like it has movement.

shutter speed ranges from lengths of 1/20000 of a second to 1 minute or long if you put it to bulb mode
