element 1 - aperture and depth of field

what is aperture
Aperture is the ring inside a lens that opens and closes to let in or block more light reaching the sensor
what does f-stop mean
F-stop is the number that refers to the aperture to know quickly if your letting in or blocking light
what is depth of field
Depth of field is referring to the aperture and the higher the f-stop the background is focused and the smaller the f-stop and foreground is in focus
